Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition is an easy to use and easy to
learn program that allows everyone, from the novice to the professional
developer, to create ASP.NET Web sites. It is available as free download
for anyone to use!
The new ListView control gives you unprecedented flexibility in how you
display your data, by allowing you to have complete control over the
HTML markup generated. ListView�s template approach to representing
data is designed to easily work with CSS styles, which comes in handy
with the new designer view.
The LINQ Project is a codename for a set of extensions to the .NET Framework that
encompass language-integrated query, set, and transform operations. It extends
C# and Visual Basic with native language syntax for queries and provides class
libraries to take advantage of these capabilities.
The AJAX Control Toolkit is a joint project between the community and
Microsoft that provides a rich array of controls for building interactive Web
experiences easily. the Toolkit aims to be the biggest and best collection of web-client components available.
